What is the analysis for Turf Special?

Turf Special has a guaranteed analysis of 25-4-8 + 2% Iron + Slow Release "N" meaning: 25 - Nitrogen 4 - Phosphorous 8 - Potassium Nitrogen is a keep nutrient in helping grass to grow while iron helps to make it greener.
What makes Turf Special work so well for my lawn?

Turf Special has a high nitrogen content. The key to a healthier lawn is the availability of the nitrogen to the grass. One shot of nitrogen will help it grow in the short term, but having the nitrogen release slowly increases the availability of that nitrogen to the grass allowing it take in nitrogen as it needs it. The added 2% iron helps to give the lawn the deep healthy looking green color that makes a lawn stand out.
What's the best way to apply Turf Special in my yard?

It's best to apply Turf Special to your lawn during the growing season. That can vary across regions, but late spring and summer are best times to apply fertilizer. Turf Special is a granular fertilizer so we recommend applying using a broadcast spreader.
How much do I need?

A 12 lb bag of Turf Special will cover approximately 5,000 sq ft.
What are the differences between Turf Special blends?

Turf Special, Flower/Tree/Shrub Special, and Azalea/Camelia Special are all fertilizer blends based on the same concept. Flower/Tree/Shrub is specially formulated for ornamentals, and Azalea/Camelia is specially formulated specificially for azaleas and camelias.
